Professional plan or higher. A domain you own. Access to your DNS provider.
Step 1: In Platform Dashboard, click Custom Domain. Enter your desired domain (e.g. workforce.yourorg.com).
Step 2: Copy the DNS records shown. Typically you need a CNAME record pointing to your subdomain.
Step 3: Add the DNS records in your DNS provider (HostGator, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.).
Step 4: Wait for DNS propagation. Can take up to 24 hours but usually completes within 1 hour.
Step 5: Click Verify in the Platform Dashboard. Once verified, SSL certificate is automatically provisioned.
Step 6: Your custom domain is live. Your users can now access the platform at your domain.
DNS not verifying: Wait longer for propagation. Use a DNS checker tool to verify records are visible globally.
SSL certificate issues: Certificates are issued automatically. If you see warnings after 30 minutes, contact support.
Still showing subdomain: Clear your browser cache. Try an incognito window.
